Gut Shabbos Pre Gimmel Tammuz Update from TT: Parshas Shelach

This week at TT we were very busy preparing Gimmel Tammuz Farbrengen in a Bag packs to give out to the community. We distributed 160 packs! These packs were created so that we can all participate in farbrenging together as a community for Gimmel Tammuz, albeit in our own homes. Thank you to the many people were involved in the development of these beautiful and toichendike packs. The positive community response has been incredible.

Special thanks to Miriam Spielman for spearheading and managing the Gimmel Tammuz project together with Yehuda Spielman and Benny Amzalak. Thank you to Rabbi Gourarie and Rabbi Straiton for preparing the learning and reading materials. (More on our Motzai Shabbos Zoom Farbrengen with Rabbi Gourarie below). Thank you to our team who worked hard to deliver the bags to you: Sreuvi Lazarus, Michael Berkovits, Batsheva Berkovits, Eli Behar, Michelle Brenner, Joel Kessel and Chana Markovits.

Thank you to the families whose generosity made this special project possible: Moss, Krinsky, Gopin, Bleier, Leinkram, Amzalak, Deitz, Spielman, Raskin, Kluwgant.

For those who have already received their packs, there is learning and reading materials which you can share with your family at the Shabbos table. As well as materials for Gimmel Tammuz itself. If you have not yet received your pack or wish to receive one, please email me at ttreply@gmail.com by this Motzai Shabbos 9pm.

There is also a Maamar enclosed in the pack. Please bring this along to the Zoom Farbrengen this Motzai Shabbos with Rabbi Gourarie. Zoom ID: 4861160823. For men and women. It is a farbrengen not to be missed!

A big Yasher Koach to Moishy Amzalak and Avremi Joseph who put together the very special "7 Weeks of the Rebbe's Torah" Program and organised the Special Guest Speakers. Don't miss the last one this Sunday night at 8:25pm-9:30pm with Rabbi Paltiel. Zoom ID: 891 5500 2867 Password: 406276.

Thank you to Louis Goldstein who prepared a special Gimmel Tammuz edition of his weekly Shabbos Sippets. Please find it attached below.

This Shabbos is Shabbos Mevorchim Tammuz, Shabbos Chof Ches Sivan (the day that the Rebbe arrived on the safe shores of America) and the Shabbos before Gimmel Tammuz. Many people have booked to attend Shul this week in honour of Gimmel Tammuz, to receive an Aliya etc.

We look forward to welcoming you to Shul. (Please note that for social distancing planning, only those who have booked can attend). To those who are davening at home this week, we have you in mind and can't wait until we can all daven together again!

Wishing everyone a Gut Shabbos!
